A warm beginning to a lifelong journey.
Little Stars is a safe, joyful place where children take their first steps into learning. Every child is known, cared for, and encouraged to discover the world at their own pace.
A child's first classroom should feel like a second home.
Founded on a simple belief.
We opened our doors in 2015 with one classroom, three caregivers, and a quiet conviction: that the earliest years shape everything that follows.
A decade later, that conviction still drives every decision. We have grown, but we have never grown careless. Every child who walks through our gate is known by name, and every family is treated as a partner in their child's growth.
We are deliberately small. We believe scale is not the same as quality, and that the best early years education happens when groups are tight, caregivers are qualified, and days are unhurried.
Three ideas that shape everything.
Our Mission
To provide a warm, safe, and joyful environment where young children develop the confidence, curiosity, and kindness that will carry them through life.
Our Vision
To be the most trusted early years educator in Kampala — a place where every child is seen, every family is supported, and every day is filled with small wonders.
Our Values
Kindness before achievement. Curiosity before correction. Patience before pressure. And a firm belief that childhood is not a race.
Milestones that shaped us.
From a single classroom to a thriving school — a few of the moments that defined who we are.

“The first years are the most important — not because of what children learn, but because of how they learn to see themselves. Our job is to make sure every child leaves us believing they are capable, kind, and curious.”
Four principles that guide every day.
These are not slogans on a wall. They are the working beliefs that shape how we teach, how we treat students, and how we make decisions.
Play is the work of childhood
We take play seriously. Structured play builds language, motor skills, and problem-solving far more effectively than flashcards.
Every child is unique
We plan for the child, not the curriculum. Some need more time on numbers, others more on language — we meet them where they are.
Partnership with parents
We send daily updates, hold regular check-ins, and treat every parent as a co-teacher in their child's growth.
Safety without harshness
We are strict about safeguards, and gentle with children. Boundaries keep them safe; warmth keeps them learning.
A place built for learning.
